Melissa Crandall is an accomplished dancer and instructor who uses movement to express emotion, ideas and beauty. She has experience with experimental dance, performance art and a flash mob for the organization, Free the Slaves, in utilizing audience interaction in close proximity. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts from the University of California Santa Barbara and is working towards a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management from Antioch University. She is inspired by the plight of slavery and trafficked victims to use art as an opportunity to gain awareness and search for solution-based learning to rescue survivors.
