Christine Palma, a graduate of Creative Writing and Studio Arts from Loyola Marymount University, has been active as an artist, web designer, writer, producer and host of Echo in the Sense, a weekly radio broadcast on KXLU Los Angeles 88.9 FM that is over 20 years old. Her art and radio work reflects an interest in labor, socially concerned cultural projects and an exploration of art materials. These are Palma’s first experiments with audio, marrying her interests in radio and art. Palma, a Filipino-American, is concerned about the Philippines being a source, destination and transit country for human trafficking.
